No. We use a multitude of evidence based equine therapy models, however all are ground based (meaning no riding). If you are looking for horseback riding lessons and not mental health therapy please reach out and we can help direct you to a lesson barn in the area.
No.
Yes. We have the capacity to use online platforms when necessary due to inclement weather, and we do conduct the first few appointments for all new clients via tele-health.
Our in-person sessions are all conducted outdoors. We require everyone to wear a sturdy closed toe shoe (no crocs, no Uggs, no sandals/flip flops). This provides you with the best traction and protection for your feet. Sessions are conducted in various weather conditions. As a result we recommend you dress in layers, check the weather, and bring a water bottle.
We will cancel individual in-person sessions and move them to our online platform in the event of severe weather conditions (thunder/lightening, and excessive heat or cold). If one of the group sessions are cancelled, we conduct a make-up session at the end of the 8-week period.
